The pineal gland is very essential in our everyday life. If we come to think about it, it does keep us alive. It may just look like a pine cone-shaped gland in our endoctrine system, but its role in our everyday life is just beyond amazing. Also known as the third eye or Ajna chakra, it is the doorway that can lead us to higher realms of consciousness. It is the womb of transcendence in our body that perceives energies from the universe and empowers us to sustain our many whys in living.
The pineal gland is only the size of a single grain of rice but it has been claimed to produce dimethyltryptamine, DMT, the most powerful psychedelic, and possibly most powerful psychoactive, substance known to man. However it calcifies, and produces less as the body ages. The gland calcifies when it encounters fluoride. These calcifications are known as corpora arenacea, or brain sand. This brain sand is composed of calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, magnesium phosphate and ammonium phosphate
The pineal gland (third eye) lies between our eyes. To our common knowledge, it allows us to see spirits and the otherworldly, but it actually is more than that – it is a sublime gift we have to be grateful for everyday.
Without our pineal gland, we won’t be able to enjoy our senses – the sight to see the marvels of our surroundings, the tiniest details of beauty, the charm in our loved-ones faces, the smell of freshness, the scent of nostalgia, the texture of stories, the taste of culture, the sound of the mountains. We won’t be able to appreciate the whispers and giggles of our friends, the music in the rain. Every day, our senses feed our boy, mind, and spirit with awe and other emotions. Our senses do not only let us take pleasure in what being alive means, our senses allow us to connect to others, to stay curious about the world and the universe, and to understand the grandeur of our being. Each day, we do more than getting up from where we sleep. Each day, we rise up to live, laugh and love. Our senses enable us to build relationships and nurture them. Our senses enable us to fall in-love with flavours and colours. Our senses enable us to appreciate each day.
The pineal gland has a vital role in controlling the action of light in our body. It also has impact on melatonin levels. This means that affects the amount of sleep we get. Sleep is an essential factor in our lives. It brings us wellness and vitality. With a sound mind, we are able to envision and judge, decide and decipher. It is also our portal to lives we have beyond this material world through dreaming and astral travel. Without our pineal gland, we won’t be able to emancipate mental walls – we can just get trapped in a bubble where we don’t have compassion, empathy, and resilience. Without it, we won’t be able to innovate, to solve, and to heal ourselves and others. Without it, we won’t be able to hold space for others in our collective intention to make this planet the best home for all of us. Each day, we set our minds free because of our third eye.
Our third eye empowers us daily. It allows us to receive the messages of the universe and empowers us to feel beyond. Through it, we are able to explore the amazing gifts of the human experience – to immerse in various layers of existence, to daydream and get lost in the vastness of our imagination. The pineal gland empowers us to perceive even the unseen, to really dive deeper to the landscapes of mysteries and magic around us and within us.
Without it, we will never have the capacity to travel and traverse the unseen and unknown. We will just live superficially and be forever victims of hate and discrimination. Without it, we will just stay in one place and won’t find out about serendipity and surprises. Without it, we won’t realize that the sun is more than just its rays. Without our third eye, we won’t have poetry and chronicles of creativity.
How amazing it is to be a bearer of the pineal gland. You and I are so blessed to have it in us; within us. The third eye makes everyday a sacred day to celebrate life and to dream of greatness. Each day as we live for various reasons, let us be reminded of that magical tiny source of sense, perception, and transcendence in between our eyes. Every day, we live more than just to see.
