This one is for the Ladies…and the Gents…if you dare!
It has been long considered that the planet is a ‘male dominated‘ place to be in and this concept has, subsequently, lead to much negative connotation. The purpose of this article is not to emphasise and reinforce this negativity but, on the contrary, to highlight the benefits we reap as a result of our historic attitudes and to emphasise the rise of the ‘feminine‘ contribution, as a necessary and inevitable aspect of our evolution as mankind.
For the purposes of this article, it is important to clarify that I am not discussing ‘male‘ and ‘female‘ as the separate entities that exist in society, but more so the different aspects of our own minds. It so happens that the world has reflected our ‘male brain‘ attitudes for thousands of years via ‘men‘ but this is certainly not an attack on our fellow, wonderful, beautiful male counterparts. It is important to say that the ‘male brain‘ traits have also displayed in women over time, too. Saying that, women, and what they have to offer, have (and in many parts of the world still are), boxed into tiny, neat little ‘packages’ for the convenience of our current ways of thinking. I believe this to be a denial of our own personal growth.
The ‘male‘ aspects of our minds are the logical, practical, organised, sequential and the analytical aspect of it, historically considered to originate from the left hemisphere of our brains. The emphasis of this aspect of our minds can be seen in the world today, from technology, to the rapid advancement of our society. It is clear to see the benefit of the ‘left brain‘ in our progression. But let’s face it, too much of anything is not a good thing! This type of advancement is a restricted and ‘partial’ form of evolution. Through years of programming, we have forgotten and neglected our feminine ‘right brain‘ qualities and the impact of this can be seen worldwide too. War, mental health disorders, depression, broken families, unhappiness and hopelessness have all come from this neglect and, effectively, mental imbalance. You only have to watch the news to see a gradual decline in the feminine values (and in some cases, extended to females in general) in modern society. This decline, is a decline in appreciation of the valuable attributes, of the of the female aspect of ourselves – Our feminine or ‘right brain‘.
Unlike the ‘left brain’ which is the more practical, the ‘right brain’ is all about FEELING. The ‘shutting off’ of this aspect of ourselves, leads to a whole spectrum of problems as mentioned above. The ‘right brain‘ is responsible for intuition, creativity, compassion, emotional intelligence, vision and the more ‘colourful‘ aspects of our being, all of which are proving to be useful, vital contributors to, and indicators of, success. Somehow, a purely logical and mechanical, ‘left brain‘ approach to life leaves it feeling incomplete, imbalanced and disconnected, and this can be seen all around us. For example, you might be more inclined to shop at a local green grocers where more ‘right brain‘ qualities are on display; somewhere where you can discuss life, build relations, have interpersonal connection and somewhere that shows more HEART and integrity, which are qualities that directly stem from a less ‘mechanical’ mindset. It’s all the extra ‘fluffy stuff‘ that draws us into a place or to people. We may dine at a restaurant that offers kind, considerate attentive staff, opposed to one where the service is comparably ‘poor’. We value and offer our resources more readily to people and businesses that offer the additional ‘right brain‘ qualities. The ‘left brain‘ qualities, in this example, are just as important though – you wouldn’t eat at a restaurant where the food was poor, logically speaking! Success and its’ advancement is, therefore, a MERGING of both of these aspects of us; the Male and the Female.
As we move up, energetically speaking, from the Solar Plexus centres into the Heart space (and beyond) into more ‘higher‘ energetic aspects of our being, we can see a dilution of unhealthy Solar Plexus symptoms. Whereas, in the past, accumulation and a strong desire to survive were the drivers and determinants of existence (which is very much driven by the Solar Plexus), now we can start to see an increase in integrity, authenticity and emotional connection in the direct influence on our success, not only on very small scales but also on very large ones. These have become the current markers of our growth over time. More and more people are moving in the direction of the ‘Heart’ to direct their lives, from running multimillion dollar industries, to our day to day living. In addition to this, the lack or absence of ‘Heart’ is rapidly highlighted, discussed and criticised by ourselves and by the general public. In this way, it is quite clear to see that the health and balance of the world is gradually being restored – and this has everything to do with the acknowledgement, acceptance and nurturing of the feminine aspects of our minds.
Needless to say, I encourage you to embrace your Divine Feminine – whether you be male or female. The quality of your life depends on it. Appreciate, respect and ADORE that aspect of your creation. The Divine Feminine is the healer of the world and she is certainly not to be underestimated.
